Time for a Walk, LLC is a licensed, bonded, and insured professional dog walking and pet sitting company serving Arlington, Falls Church city, and select areas of Alexandria and McLean, Virginia.
We are comprised of a pet friendly staff with extensive training and experience in caring for pets of all kinds. Our pet caregivers treat each dog, cat, fish or any other pet as they would their own pet... with love and respect. To keep our clients abreast of services performed, each dog walk or pet visit is concluded with a hand-written note describing the dog walking / pet visit highlights and any notable observations related to the health and well-being of your dog or other pet.
We are certified by the Red Cross in pet first aid and are members of the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters (NAPPS), Pet Sitters International, and the Northern Virginia Professional Pet Sitters Network.

Time for a Walk® understands the apprehension that accompanies welcoming a new dog walker or pet sitter into one's home. We take our duty to provide you with the best dog walkers and pet sitters very seriously! We perform background checks on all of our dog walkers, pet sitters, and caregivers and only employ those who meet our strict standards. We will never hire a dog walker, pet sitter, or caregiver whom we wouldn't feel comfortable hiring to serve our own dogs, cats, and other pets.
